Absinthe Sugar Cubes

Before 1915, absinthe was typically consumed with a sugar additive to balance the flavor. There are a variety of traditional tools and methods for sweetening absinthe, but the amount of sugar is purely a matter of preference for the individual drinker. These cubes are the same found in cafés, bars and restaurants throughout France and Italy.
